Mount View High School is part of Regional School Unit 3 and serves students from the towns of Brooks, Freedom, Jackson, Knox, Liberty, Monroe, Montville, Thorndike, Troy, Unity and Waldo.  

Our Mission Statement: Mount View High School will provide a secure environment in which students will be challenged to fulfill their potential. While acknowledging differences in learning styles and abilities, we will offer a rigorous curriculum to help students meet the challenges of an increasing complex society. Using a variety of resources, including parents, school, and community, we will strive to prepare our students to become responsible members of the world community.

Important Notices: 

Course Registration is the week of April 22nd.  Students will have an assembly on Monday to go over requirements with their guidance counselors and to learn about the process itself.  On Thursday and Friday students will have meetings with their teachers to select the appropriate next level in a particular area.  On Friday this registration paper will come home with signed teacher recommendations and then parents are asked to review with their child to approve their course selection.  This is due by Tuesday April 30th.  The master schedule is then created based on your child's selections and the needs of the high school for next year.  

Reminder Seniors must have completed 15 hours of community service to meet graduation requirements.  This must be completed by May 31st.
