CAREER DAY AT MVMS Career day was held on May 1st at MVMS. Each student attended sessions on five different careers. Twenty - seven careers were represeted by community members on career day. Students were able to signup for which careers they were interested in. In the afternoon students worked on team building activities and were able to watch a performance by Randy Judkins, who is a motivational speaker. Mount View High School Career Day On May 8th students at MVHS recently had a career day. Students signed up for multiple events and the day was a large success. Walker in the Spotlight
It may look like a spirited wrestling match, but it is actually Isaac G. and Zach, fifth graders at Walker School as they participate in one of the many activities presented by students from Unity College just before April vacation. The college students led students in Mrs. Clark and Mr. Jones' classes through a number of team-building activities, helped students explore nature, and ended the experience with a hike to the top of Haystack Mountain.

A great time was had by all at our Dr. Seuss Literacy & Art Night! Most activities focused around the six books titles that were distributed to MVE students. If I Ran the Zoo activities included the opportunity to read in a cage. Students loved that! Yertle the Turtle did a reader's theater. Troy in the Spotlight
Engineering Challenges: Shawn works on designing his sail car. Students used a scale drawing to help them design a car that would be powered by wind. Then they used drills, saws, glue, and an assortment of materials to construct what they had designed. The ultimate test of their design was a series of trials that determined which designs were the most successful. MORSE MAY ALL SCHOOL ASSEMBLY- May- Books for Bikes! On Thursday, May 9th students and staff at Morse Moemorial School celebrated citizenship, good behavior and community at our assembly. Thanks to The Marsh River Lodge # 102 and other local businesses, and community members for donating 14 bikes, helmets and t-shirts to our students. The program is officially called Books for Bikes.
